I am building a CR2032 powered LDC circuit. Does the 15mA peak current spec. of CR2032(two in series for 6V) enough for LDC working. I ahve read in another forum regarding the current requirement being <5mA.

Hi Sajeendran,
What is your application? Have you considered using the LDC1101? It is an improved version of the LDC1000 with significantly lower power consumption. The high-resolution, high-speed LDC1101 also supports both L- and RP-measurements, greatly improved measurement accuracy, better part-to-part variation, lower cost, and easier design integration.
Hi Ben
Thanks for 1101 which is ideal for my application with 1.8 - 3.3 V operation. I am using LDC to communicate over BLE using BLE nano from Redbear Lab.
Can you give the current consumption for LDC 1101 and LDC 1614(for developing 4 channel module)?
Hi Sajeendran,
the current consumption data is in the respective datasheets. There is also a current consumption tab in our tools spreadsheet, which you can use to estimate the current consumption in duty cycled applications:
