Hi Team,

My customer concern if there is any negative effect if cutting powder of PCB attaches at sensor(polyimide).
He assumes dry dicing process in this case.

My customer has evaluated HDC1000 before it went NRND, so I should support him until HDC1010 will be released.

Dear Yaita-san,
we have no evidence of HDCs damaged by the PCB powder. Please consider that is possible to wash the PCB with water without to damage the HDC sensing element.
I agree that if the customer can implement a dry dicing process, it is recommended.
HDC1010 will be released by middle Q3 2016.

Does TI adopts dry dicing process for HDC1000EVM?
(I would like to know if TI cleans PCB with water after cutting off HDC1000EVMs.)

Dear Yaita-san,
I have double checked and our EVMs are de-panelized with a de-scoring tool (sometime referred to as a "pizza cutter").
The boards are then cleaned using deionized water.
