HDC1080 / Effect of dust on sensor

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HDC1080, HDC1010

Hi,

HDC1080 has sensor on the top of package, so there is possibility of attaching dust on sensor. Then I'd like to know the effect of dust for performance of sensor. I'd like you to share any example data that simulate such situation.

Best Regards,

Sonoki / Japan Disty

  • Hi Sonoki-san,
I'm sorry but this information is confidential and cannot be shared with the costumer.
Please, just notices that HDC1010, with the sensing element placed on the bottom side of the device, is intrinsically more robust against dust, compared to the HDC1080 and to the other parts on the market that have the sensing element placed on the top side of the package.
    Best regards,
    Carmine
