FDC2214 How to Improve EMI/EMS

Hi,

SRF3216-222Y for the common-mode choke is suggested to improve EMI and EMS in the FDC2214 evm user's guide as below.
So, how should it be mouned to FDC2214 evm since it has 4 ports ?
In addition, is the ferrite beads able to use to improve them instead of the common-mode choke ?

Hi Kato-san,

As you've drawn, the 0-ohm resistors are placeholders for the common-mode chokes. You would need separate chokes per channel. To answer your last question, ferrite beads may be able to improve this instead of using the common-mode choke but we have not done any extensive testing on that.

Thank you for your quick response.

Actually as a result of having tested FDC2214 evm with the ferrite beads, the linearity has been improved.
However, I have not tested more details.
By the way, is my understanding correct as below if using the common-mod chokes ?
