Iam currently using the LDC 1614EVM Board. I have two sepreated Questions.
First Question:
I already found the circuit diagram (see attached Picture) of the middle part of the LDC1614 EVM Board, but is there also an Eagle-file accessible?
i would like to create a custom coil with this part of the evm Board on it.
Second Question:
Since i like to create my own coil (Round shape), I have some Questions about the resolution.
I have read the Manual:
"Application Report
SNOA930–March 2015
LDC Sensor Design"
It tells me that half the coil size matches ~ the distance of the Sensor.
It also tells me that the greater the Q --> the greater the stabilty of the signal.
Now when i use the webench coil designer(//webench.ti.com/.../
and Fill in my maximum Coil-Outer-diameter, set the best Options for a great Q with the given productionlimits from my circuit designer distributor,
i cant find any info about the resolution. It would be nice to have some sort of information about the following Points;
Spacing between traces --> is the resolution increased or decreased if its very small / big
Trace width(W) --> is the resolution increased or decreased if its very small / big
If my Maximum Coil diameter is 60mm and every other part is open what is the best way to get the highest possible resolution? Is it just to search for the highest possible Q ?
