FDC2214 Consideration of Rp and IDRIVE

Hi

We want to understand how to drive LC tank of FDC2214 properly.

The  oscillation amplitude is defined as 1.2V to 1.8V in the datasheet.
And the parameter of IDRIVE seems to be used to get proper oscillation amplitude.

According to the SNOA950 Application Report, the sensor oscillation voltage Vosc is representd by (4Rp x Idrive)/pi.

Even though SNOA950 is for LDC but it explains the feature of sensor current-drive to set the sensor amplitude.

We have the following questions.

1. Do we need to consider Rp to get proper IDRIVE value?

2. Can we apply the consideration described in SNOA950 to FDC2x1x in the same way?
