TMP75 spec check

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP75

Hi Sir,

Sorry to bother you.

We would like use TI TMP75AIDG4 to replace ADI ADT75ARZ.
From web, looks TI device has the SAME FUNCTIONALITY and PINOUT as the competitors device, but is NOT an exact equivalent.
So we do the compare and found between

Local Accuracy (best-case): ADI~ +/-2C@-25C~100C; TI~ +/-2C@-25C~85C

Local Accuracy (worst-case): ADI~+/-3C@-55C~100C; TI~ +/-3C@-40C~125C

Also had some power consumption different (TI performance has better)

In addition to the above conditions, if we would like use TMP75, the software is same as the ADT75??

Do we need to change I2C setting??

Does TMP75 could DIRECT REPLACEMENT ADT75??

Thanks for your reply.

  • Hi Shu-Cheng,

The ADT75 is basically a copy of the TMP75. The I2C device addresses are identical (and programmable) for both devices. There are only slight differences between the 2 devices in regards to registers and some bits in the configuration register.
