Yes you can use the LM96063 with an ASIC. The LM96063 is trimmed for the ideality of an MMBT3904 - if the ideality of the thermal diode in the ASIC is different you can use an offset to adjust for temperature shifts. See the apps section of the LM96063 data sheet for further details.
