I have a customer who is asking for a hardware monitor that has a separate fan failure pin that notifies the user of a fan failure. If I understand this correctly, the LM96000 doesn't have a separate fan failure pin but rather communicates through various registers the status of the fans - stall, PWM, freq, tach, temp etc. Please confirm.
