Hi,
I have an application where I need to sense a very small linear pulling force in a space-constrained housing. Hoping to find a suitable sensor (perhaps Inductance based). Space wise, I have around 5 or 6 cubic mm to work with. And need to measure a force as small as the weight of several grams. Load cells seems too large and expensive. Can't find a suitable piezo electric or piezo resistive sensor. A tiny compression spring might work though. Is there a way to use that via inductance to measure a small pulling force? Or is there such a commercially available tiny pressure sensor?
Thanks
