Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC2114
Hi,
After updating the LDC2114EVM firmware (success) the EVM did not enumerate anymore and so not found by Sensing GUI application.
Is there a way to revert an EVM RevA to original FW state?
Thanks.

Hello M.A.M,
what firmware file did you use to upgrade? TI has not released any firmware upgrades for this EVM. We will release the firmware file and its source code, but it will take several more weeks before it is available online.
If it is a firmware file that you programmed yourself, then you can flash a new firmware file by using the following procedure:
If you do not have an LDC2114 compatible firmware file available, please send me a private message.
Hi, Ben ,
I also faced the same issue.
when we do testing on LDC2114EVM by using the tool "Sensing Solution EVM GUI",in the menu, there's a firmware upgrade option.
we just want to try whether a new firmware will improve the sensitivity.
we once tried it, and load the "FDC2x14_LDC13xxRevB_LDC16xxRevB_EVM_Firmware.txt" as instruction, it shows upgrade ok, and done successfully.
but after that, the EVM board stopped functional, and the GUI tool lost the connection between the EVM board.
so, how to reverse back to let the EVM board to work?
think, if the loaded .txt file is not for the target EVM board, the GUI tool should have a reminded pop ups , etc.
B/R,
