LDC1000: LDC1000EVM application question

I recommend looking into the LDC1612 instead of the LDC1000. Apart from several other advantages over the LDC1000, it supports a larger sensing range. Here are some details on sensing range:

In case you need SPI or high sample rates, then the LDC1101 is a good substitute for the LDC1000, also offering farther sensing range because of better SNR.

For increase sense distance, we can fine tune RESPONSE_TIME or f_SENSOR via GUI ? since sample rate up.

in the register settings, you can increase the response time to improve the SNR (and therefore increase the effective sensing range). A response time setting of 6144 oscillation cycles results in the lowest noise. Note that increasing the response time will limit the sample rate.
f_Sensor cannot be controlled through the GUI; it is a function of the L and C sensor components. While increasing the sensor frequency doesn't increase sensing range directly, it often allows choosing a higher response time setting while still meeting sample rate requirements.
