I have clamp-on sensors that I want to use on EVM. On these sensors (1 pair), there a 10 K resistors across the leads as shown below;

I'd like to know what role this resistor plays.

Hi Sukho,

Typically a resistor across the transducer leads can be used to provide damping that will reduce the ringing decay time after the the transducer excitation has stopped. Could you share the sensor part number or datasheet?
