LM95214: LM95214 Revision ID value

Hello Team,

the LM95214 Revision ID register is supposed to be, out of the datasheet, 0x7B.

Currently I'm reading the value 0x79.

  • Is it this code valid?
  • Why is 0x79 and not 0x7B?

    Hi Mauro,

     

    I reviewed the initial datasheet and design review. The revision ID is 0x7B for LM95214 not 0x79, so the current datasheet is the correct revision ID. However, we released a family of remote channels when the initial released. There are four products when we released:

     

    LM95234: 0x79

    LM95233: 0x89

    LM95214: 0x7B

    LM95213: 0x8B

     

    The 0x79 that you read back is more likely LM95234. The only way that I can confirm this if you can take a photo of the product label pack on the bag or tape and reel. This label will give us a lot of information for traceability. Could you please confirm if you ordered the LM95234 or LM95214?
