Hi guys, I am designing a system to measure HR and SpO2 with AFE4404. I am planning to interface AFE4404 to STM32F11 MCU. I have gone through the data sheet of afe4404 and quiet confused about the hardware and software resetting part. Can I simply connect the resetz pin of afe4404 to VCC and use software reset alone by controlling the CONTROL0 register. Or is it mandatory to have a hardware reset by pulsing the resetz pin with a pulse of 25 -50 us duration. Please help.
