LM95214: LM95214 ; IBIS model for I2C Interface required

Part Number: LM95214
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP464, TMP468,

Hi,

In order to verify the  I2C bus on my board I would like to simulate the behavior.  Could you provide me an IBIS model for the I2C I/F of the device?

Thanks, Bertram

  • Hi Bertram,

We don't currently have an IBIS model for this device. I will make a request, but it may be difficult to support due to the age of the product.

As an alternative, we are releasing a QFN version of TMP468 in the next week or two. This product already has an IBIS model available on the web. It is an 8 channel device, and we intend to follow it up with a 4 channel device called TMP464 later this year. I can provide you an EVM for TMP468 in QFN package.

    Thanks,
    Ren
  • Hi Ren,

thanks for your feedback. Is there any other device in the same process which is using /reusing the I2C building block and offers an IBIS model? I guess the TMP468 is completely different process?

    Thanks and best regards, Bertram
  • Yes, TMP468 is a different process than LM95214.

I wasn't able to find another device in the LM95214 family with an IBIS model. If you have an urgent need for this model, we should follow-up over email/phone.
