    Hi Cezar,

    Duty cycle and sampling rates are decided by many factors, such as hardware, average power consumption required, algorithm for data processing, etc. However a special care should be given while selecting duty cycle , as it effects the sampling width as well.
    That being said I would suggest LED_ON time of 100uS and sampling rate of 100 Hz as a starting point. Later those parameters can be modified based on application.
