How many targets can be detected if there is multiple target in the same range and velocity but different angle? And the same range but different velocity and angle?

Hello Chianan,
Multiple objects at the same range can be separated by velocity and angle. The capability to separate them out will depend on the velocity resolution and angular resolution of the system implemented. There are standard equations to estimate these parameters. You can refer to the following app note provides some guidance in estimating these parameters (www.ti.com/.../swra533)

There is also a system calculator tool available that would help provide the performance values with different chirp parameters ( www.ti.com/.../mmwave-studio )
