AFE5809EVM: Current consumption

Hi everybody

I have a question regarding the current consumption of the AFE5809 EVM. When I apply the +-5 V the current will be 0.77A and sometimes jumps to 1A which is pretty high. Is that normal to have such a high current using this board?
