TSW1400EVM: Requesting quick getting started webex session for my assigned customer (European time zone).

Hi mmWave team,

My customer has AR1443EVM+DevPack+TSW1400EVM all set up and connected to Radar Studio per instructions previously provided. Radar Studio launches and connects to the boards just fine. The problem is how to continue from here to set up a valid configuration in Radar Studio to start a radar sensing scan and collect data in the TSW1400 memory buffer to be analyzed with MatLab efterwards.

My customer and I are asking if you would please support a webex getting started session to walk us through the initial steps?

Hi Wolfgang,

The mMWave Sensing Estimator is now available here (use the Chrome browser preferably). This tool takes some application parameters as inputs (e.g., maximum range and velocity, resolution...), and generates chirp parameters that may be entered in the Radar Studio SensorConfig tab.

Hi Sumeer,
I read through the User's Guide and it describes the tool very well. What I'm looking for is an out-of-box example configuration to get up and running quickly and then go from there. I have a dialog off line with the BU and we have a plan to address this request. You may go ahead and close this ticket.

I just came across a very instructive application note "Programming Chirp Parameters in TI Radar Devices" that explains the effect of the various chirp parameters and give several examples of chirp configurations for various use cases. You may access it here.
