AWR1243BOOST: HSDC Pro Error 603

Hi,

We connected the three boards - BOOST + DEVPACK + TSW1400 and were facing intermittent connection issues with the TSW1400. We swapped our TSW boards and the issue still persisted.

We wanted to change to another PC, and installed all the drivers and HSDC Pro files on this new laptop. Now when we connect the TSW1400, we get the error 603 occured at Read Registry Value STR.vi.

We tried to proceed but the board was not connecting and seems like HSDC Pro hangs up. Is this a known issue ? Thank you in advance for your help :)

Hi RJ,

Can you please post a snapshot of the error window. Does this show up only after connection to TSW1400.
Another sanitiy check question : Is Installation and run of HSDC pro is done with Admin right.

Can you please also mention the windows version and if it is 32bit vs 64bit.

Hi Vaibhav,

The screen shot is attached below. No it shows up right when I run the HSDC Pro software. The installation and run both are done as Administrator.

Windows 10 Pro and it is 64-bit.

Hi RJ,

One of the HSDC forums post shows an identical issue which went away after tera term was uninstalled. Worth trying if that helps:

Any difference between labview installation between the working and not-working setup.

Hi Vaibhav,

Thank you for the reply. I checked and we do not have tera term installed on the laptop. A re-install seems to have gotten rid of the problem. Hopefully it stays this way.
