LMT01: Molding Rejection question

Hi,

My customer want to do the 2nd molding injection for the LMT01. The temperature for molding is 170°C

, and the material for POM during the molding is 180~210°C.

The max temp for the LMT01 in the datasheet is 175°C. Is there any issue for this?

    Hello Wu,
    the temperature maximum for assembly (reflow or injection molding) is higher than the maximum storage temperature. Your customer may exceed the storage temperature during the short term assembly process, as long as the temperature profile during injection molding remains within the reflow profile limits for the given package type (see www.ti.com/.../spraby1.pdf). Please refer to the package information on the product folder (www.ti.com/.../pinout-quality) for the MSL Rating / Peak Reflow specs of your chosen package.
