Sorry that I didn't see Medical Forum from selection item so I post here.
I have a question about the data sampling rate of AFE4490SPO2EVM.
Through the GUI, I see that the time-control related registers are changed after I change the default frequency (500 Hz).
My questions are as follows:
1. Why there is no differences between the change of frequency from 500 Hz to 1000 Hz that, by recording a constant length of 8192 points, all needs 28 seconds to complete? (about 300 Hz)
2. If the GUI has a problem, can I write registers with the changed values from GUI higher frequency setting?
3. To achieve a higher data rate, can I change the firmware register default values and generate a file for firmware update? how?
My colleague has tried to write registers referred "Message Communication Protocol v4.0" through AccessPort.
Before, we can successfully send start read ADC command to see output data via AccessPort.
So I think there is no problem in PC to EVM communication.
However, reading register values back after from the written register seems not identical.
Perhaps something went wrong between GUI write register function to MSP430.
