RX power of AR1642-Q1

Hello team,

In the datasheet, TX power is 12dBm of  AR1642-Q1 chip, how about RX power?

Design a sort range radar, could you have any suggest for TX and RX Gain of antennas?

    Hello Neko,
    The AWR1642 datasheet, table 5.7 has the RX gain numbers. It is user programmable (steps of 1dB), with the max setting of 48dB and a programmable range of 24dB.
    To estimate the required antenna gain for your application you can refer to the sensing estimator tool which is available online ( dev.ti.com/.../) .
