OPT3001: Code is burning properly but Not Working

Hi,

I am working on a weather monitoring system which includes OPT3001 while using the I2C protocol in my cc3200 custom board to connect OPT3001. I was able to connect to the device CC3200 but was unable to read data from it. While using the oscilloscope, I observed that the I2C SCL(Clock) goes to IDLE state despite continuous data transfer.

Any help would be really appreciable!

Hello Laxmi,

Can you confirm if there are pull up resistors on the I2C lines?

The bus must be controlled by a master device that generates the serial clock (SCL), controls the bus
access, and generates start and stop conditions. To address a specific device, the master initiates a start
condition by pulling the data signal line (SDA) from a high logic level to a low logic level while SCL is high.
Do you see the master in this CC3200 providing the start condition and driving the clock?

Can you share with us the way you connected the device? And also can you share with us the waveforms? (SCL&SDA) That would help us investigating the issue.
