AWR1243: Can we let only Rx signal chain work in AWR1243?

Hi Champion,
My customer want to test their AWR1243 board in lab. They have an instrument which can generate 77GHz FMCW signal. They want to konw is there approach which can disable the Tx and only use Rx signal chain to test the system Rx performance.

Hello Adam,
In the channel config API you can disable all TX and also in same in the chirp config. With this there would be no transmission.

Vivek,

When the TX is disabled, the LO frequency is still there. Is that right? So we can get the IF signal with the signal get from RX minus the LO?

Thats right, the LO would still be there and the RX chain is operational.
