LDC1314DIAL-EVM: Sensing Solutions EVM GUI- does this work with LDC1314DIAL?

Champs,

So I donloaded the v 1.9.2 of the Sensing Solutions EVM GUI; and when I plug in the LDC1314DIAL-EVM to my PC I see it get assinged a COM port with the gemneric name EVM on it in Device Manager, so I'm assuming it's working.  However, when you launch Sensing Solutions EVM GUI; it says Not COnnected in the lower right; but I don't see anything remotely useful in configuring the tool as to which COM port to look at or how to make it conenct- can't do a FW upgrade either until it connects... whats the trick here?  I'm assuning it's some QS guide... but the GUI doesn't come with one of these...

    Hello,
    In the device manager you mention that it shows up with the name "EVM" which is the correct behavior. It should also indicate which specific COM port was assigned to it. You could additionally try to communicate with the EVM directly over a terminal and see if communication is ok. If you send the ASCII character ? then you should receive back EVM. Sometimes we've seen that you have to run the GUI as administrator or have the device manager open when connecting for the first time.

    The Dial EVM has its own dedicated GUI and can be downloaded from here. You can also refer to the parent reference design for the actual user guide (the Dial-EVM webpage information is incorrect) here.
