Hi,

There is follows on the datasheet p40.

"The FDC can be used to measure liquid level in non-conductive containers."

Is it impossible to measure in conductive containers by capacitive sensor?

My customer would like to measure liquid level in the container of stainless.

Hello Kuramochi,

Conductive materials will perturb the electric field, so the application will not work well.

Kuramochi-san,

If the container is conductive, it's impossible to sense liquid inside from outside of the container.

If the sensors are placed inside the container, it is possible.
