CCS/IWR1642BOOST: Unable to launch capture demo

Hi,

I have flashed the capture demo onto my IWR1642BOOST EVM. After connecting to the correct COM port in TeraTerm, I am unable to get the required capture demo menu. While connecting to Ti CCS, I am unable to launch the ccxml file. Attached screenshot for reference. Please help.

Hello Shantanu,

It looks like you need to connect the C674X_0 target. Right click on it and select 'Connect Target'.

After you are connected to both cores you will need to load the program files. You can follow the steps shown in the attached guide from slides 20 and on. These are for the out of box demo but the process is the same, just use the .xe754 and .xer4f from C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05\packages\ti\demo\xwr16xx\capture instead.

Thanks for your reply. But after following those steps, the mss_main() fails to load. I have attached a screen shot of the output. PLease help.

Hello Shantanu,

I just tried it on my end and did not encounter the error you are seeing. Can you take a screen shot of your .ccxml file setup? Also, just to confirm that you are using the correct out files, which files are you trying to load to which core?
