AWR1243: What RF test we can do on AWR1243 EVM?

Hi champion,
    My customer built their own AWR1243 board, but they don't fully understand what peroormance test they can do on that board since they are fresh man in this area.
    They want to ask in our EVM development what test we did on this board in term of the performance of the board.

    Hello Adam,
    If their board has an etched antenna (not wave guide) then the most common evaluation done are system tests based on the intended application of the customer. Configure the radar sensor with the desired settings and capture the ADC data. Post process the data with the algorithms they want to implement and observe of the object results meet their requirements.
    For some example you can refer to this app note to get an idea about some of the system tests we did, but the exact tests would depend on the end application of the customer : www.ti.com/.../swra549.pdf
