AWR1642: Parameter settings for AWR1642

Hi all,

I want to use AWR1642 EVM to evaluate following conditions and base on mmWave_SDK_01_00_00_05. 

May I know the blank column value and config files for each condition?

    Hi Omin,

    Your best option to quickly obtain config files is to use the mmWave Demo Visualizer found at:

    https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/534566/mmWave_Demo_Visualizer/  

    Fill out your corresponding configuration requirements and at the bottom of the page select Save Config to PC.

    I cannot comment on what your Mid range values should be as that depends on your application but I would suggest choosing appropriate values in between your Near and Far Range requirements.

    Hello Omin,
    As Adrian mentioned, the requirements for your application would depend on what use case and what you are targeting to sense.

    But once you have put together your application requirements you can try the sensing estimator tool ( dev.ti.com/.../).
    Here you can fill in your parameters like max range , range resolution etc. and get the appropriate configuration parameters that will help you achieve the performance you are looking for. These values can be updated on the config file.
