Hi team,

The customer would like to measure the water flow meter. The frequency of his ultrasonic sensor is 5MHZ and 10MHZ.

He would like to use AFE5809EVM+TSW1400EVM to achieve this function.

Can AFE5809EVM+TSW1400EVM to achieve this function for his application? If not, would you recommend a better solution?

Is the ultrasonic sensor connected directly to the input channel of AFE5809EVM?

Hi Mickey,

The AFE5809EVM + TSW1400EVM can be used as a pair to receive and capture ultrasonic waves (compensate for diminishing gain and convert to digital data) but do not come with the ultrasonic transducer or transmitter.

TDC1000 is another option if multiple channels are not being captured at the same time.

The AFE5809EVM+TSW1400EVM can receive and condition the reflected ultrasonic waves for the customer application.
