OPT101: Are there any alternatives to this product with a smaller footprint but similar spectral response?

Hello, I'm developing a product that requires the ability to sense light in the 500-1000nM range. I'm interested in the OPT101 because it has an integrated transimpedance amplifier and that will help minimize noise in my system. However, the package for the OPT101 is quite large and I'd prefer something SMD instead of through-hole.

Are there any alternative products that offer similar functionality (spectral response, gain, etc.) in a smaller package?

Hi,

You might want to look at OPT3002. This is a wide-band light sensor in a smaller package. However, this is digital output (as opposed to OPT101, which is analog output).

Hi,

Thank you for the response. My concern with the OPT3002 is that I need to be sensing light in the 500nM-1000nM range, and the OPT3002 does not appear to have a very good spectral response in the 800+nM range. Are there any alternatives that provide similar spectral response to the OPT101?
