IWR1642: What's the data format of LVDS output?

Hello Chris,
In case of 1642 all the ADC samples from RX1 are sent out on the LVDS first, then all the samples of of RX2, followed by RX3 and RX4.

If each adc data is 12-bit complex, how they send on two lane?

The I data (1 bits) come on lane 1 and Q data (12 bits) come on lane 2. After the first sample the second sample follows , so on an so forth.

I think you mean I data (12 bits) on lane 1 and Q data (12 bits) on Lane 2 for 12-bit complex data output on LVDS, right?

How about 12-bit real data only? If initCfg.u.lvdsCfg.msbFirst       = 1U, does bit 11/9/7/5/3/1 on lane 1 and bit 10/8/6/4/2/0 on lane 2?

And how about the data format on LVDS of IWR1443? Any different?

Thanks for pointing to the data path guide. It has a lot info on my question.

I found below info in this application note for two examples of mapping CBUFF to 2 lanes (xWR1642).
example 1. Mapping IQ samples together and then the IQ pairs are interleaved over the two LVDS channels
example 2. Mapping all the I samples on one lanes and all the Q samples on another lane

I also checked the capture demo of xWR1642 in mmWave sdk. It has below code. Does it match the example 1 in the data path app note?
cbuffCfg.dataMode = CBUFF_DataMode_INTERLEAVED;
