Regarding the IWR1642.

There is another parameter which we had in the IWR1443

And isn’t shown in the IWR1642 code.

This parameter is called ‘Noise_Energy’.

Can you please instruct how to get this parameter?

Hello Ofer,
Are you referring to the plot in the mmwave visualizer? This can be got by selecting the "noise profile" in the configuration tab of the visualizer tool.

Can you clarify your question? What do you mean by "how to get this parameter?". What are you trying to do?

Hi Ofer,

I am assuming you are speaking about the mmWave Out of Box Demo.

The Noise Energy parameter you are referring to is transmitted via UART as a TLV object in the MmwDemo_mboxReadTask() thread in mss_main.c.
The MSS obtains the data structure from the DSS via the mailbox. You can see where the data structure is formed in the MmwDemo_dssSendProcessOutputToMSS thread in dss_main.c.
