Trying to set up a 1Mhz Transducer with the TDC1000 to measure thickness of plastics. In theory this should be doable, but after countless attempts setting everything up again and again, I always get the same result: a value of about 38 microseconds. I can read the start, compIn and stop signals on my scope, and they have the same value between the start and stop signals. This value does not change upon mating a transducer to something I want to measure, and seemingly does not change at all. Any ideas? do I need a different module or transducers? I have tried 3.4 Mhz transducers using an external clock, but got similar results; an unchanging value, although this one was a different value. Thanks in advnace
