AWR1642: How to update software without unpack the radar box

Hi,

Once the radar product has installed on automotive, they want to know how to update the software if don't unpack the radar box, cannot change the SOP mode, only CAN interface can be used. Will TI provide solution and relative tool to help customer implement it?

Hello Andy,
The application can include the serial flash update using the CAN interface. You can refer to the following e2e thread related to a similar topic : e2e.ti.com/.../2228472

Vivek,

I checked your topic but no solution was provided. I think lots of customer would meet the same question, if TI can provide similar demo code like IBL(in mcsdk) to show how to use CAN for software update, then it can accelerate customers' product MP schedule.
