AWR1443BOOST: No device detected when the ENV is connected to PC

Hi, after I ran a few time the online demo I am not able anymore to detect the device when it is connected to a PC with a usb cable.

When I connect the usb cable nothing happen in the device manager.

I tried also with other PC and OS with the same result. I am using also an AWR1642BOOST board and it is working properly with the same power supply and USB cable.

Can someone suggest some procedure to restore the board or reprogram the XDS110 emulator?

Hello Ugo,
Could you let us know if the 5V LED indication (DS2) and the NRST LED indication (DS4) are ON when you power in the 5V supply?
Are you using the EVM standalone or are you using it with the DevPack ?

Hello Ugo,
In that case I would suspect some issue with the USB cable/connector. Could you try changing the USB cable and make sure the cable is indeed properly inserted into the connector? Does anything related to XDS110 or Sterallis show up in the windows device manager?

Hi Vivek,

sorry but I was out of office.

Unfortunately I tried different USB cable/connector but I cannot see any change, the device manager. Moreover I can use the same cable/connector and I can use another TI SDK (AWR1642BOOST) properly.

It is like the TM4C1294NCPDT is stuck, there is some way to reset or flash it again?

Hello Ugo,
After you power up the board and then remove and insert the USB cable to the board do you see any update happening in your windows device manager . If not then I suspect the "TM4C1294NCPDT" might have got damaged.
If there is some change then can you help me with the snapshot of the device manager with the name that shows up corresponding to this board?

Hello Vivek,
unfortunately nothing is happening in my device manager. I agree with you, probably the "TM4C1294NCPDT" has got damaged in some way.

Hello Ugo,
Yes, it does look like that. Unfortunately looks like you might have to purchase a new EVM. Alternatively you could try purchasing the "TM4C1294NCPDT" IC separately from the TI store and changing the IC, incase you have the facility to do this.
