Hi team,

The customer is using IWR1642BOOST. He refers to the 4. 4. 2. Setting up build environment---4. 4. 2. 1. Windows for SDK_User's Guide.

He uses the "cmd" command on his PC. But he occurs an error. Please check the attachment.

Q1: For the 4. 4. 2. Setting up build environment---4. 4. 2. 1. Windows, where is setenv_tools.bat?

It is not in the <mmwave_sdk_<ver> install path>\packages\scripts\windows folder.I cannot find it.

Q2: The customer uses the "cmd" command on his PC to run. Is he correct?

Q3: How to solve the customer's question? How to complete the 4. 4. 2. 1. Windows step?

Recently, when many customers build environment, they occur the same above the issue. They prefer we can provide some graphs to

understand.

Mickey,

Pls ask your customer to create a file named setenv_tools.bat at C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05\packages\scripts\windows. Then copy the content of example of setenv_toos.bat in 4. 4. 2. 1. Windows to the file. Then change the path in file according to customer's real environment. Then in dos console, just run "setenv_tool.bat".

Please try what Chris mentioned.
If issue persists please log file showing the error.

Would you explain more about this? Which path of the file?

I have created the setenv_tools.bat file in the mmwave_sdk_<ver> install path>\packages\scripts\windows folder on my PC.

Then I use cmd command in dos console. But I do not know how to achieve the screenshot that Chris shows.

My dos console screenshot is in the attachment. Would you tell me how to achieve the screenshot that Chris shows?

Pls run "cd C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05\packages\scripts\windows" in dos console.
