Hi,

For dimension issue, we apply another USB to UART converter to replace XDS110. When we apply this dual UART port converter for mmwave demo visualizer, it can work normally. However, as we try to apply uniflash to update the AWR1642 firmware, the following error message is displayed. May I know how to recover this issue?

This error situation is found after console shown

[INFO] : Connecting to COM port COM24...

[INFO] : Reset connection to device

[INFO] : Set break signal

[ERROR] : Initial response from the device was not received. Please power cycle device before re-flashing

Hello,

Can you please confirm that you do see the COM24 available under "Device Manager" and is not being used by any other program/console on the PC/Computer.

If despite this Uniflash cannot communicate with the device then we might have to get support for Uniflash device via TI E2E Forum UniFlash Support.

Hi,

I verified this Uniflash issue by another USB to single port UART. The result is ok. I will check with the vendor of USB to dual UART.
