I'm looking into the OPT3002 to sense laser power and have the following 2 questions:
1.) The output is stated as 2D-density. I guess this assumes homogenoues illumination of the 0.49*0.39 sensor size? So the total current is measured and related to the whole sensor surface.
2.) The local intensity in my application will be quite high, so I need to use filters to reduce. In order to find the best operating point, I would like to know what's the maximum local illumination the photodiode can withstand?
