HDC1080EVM: -10 degree test question

Part Number: HDC1080EVM

Dear Sir

We are testing HDC1080EVM for -10 degree ,but Humidity(% RH) still have 34% ,is it correct ??

As I know when the temperature is under zero degree ,it should be no %RH

Please kindly help

Relative humidity is the ratio between the actual water vapor and the saturation water vapor.
Saturation water vapor is function of temperature and decreases as the temperature decrease.
What is correct to say is that the total amount of water vapor molecules is low.
But it doesn't mean that the "Relative Humidity" is zero. It's the opposite. At low temperature the relative humidity approach 100% (also with a small amount of water vapor molecules present in the environment).

Looking at your measurements, it seems that the environment inside the oven is not yet stabilized or there are is some leakages (the oven is not perfectly sealed). This could explain why the relative humidity measurement is not stable.
