How to stitch 4 1024 FFT to 4K FFT to increase accuracy? If I configure 1 1024 FFT within the certain range, for example 50 meters, how do I convert this 1024 FFT to 4096 FFT? If I directly configured to 4096 FFT, it always give over 100 meters range.

The implementation of 4K FFT stitching code is in the 4K FFT lab (dev.ti.com/.../

Note this is only an example of 4K stitching, to zoom in into certain range, modification of the code is needed to suit your purpose.

Here are my question:
How to configure 4k FFT? Should it be configured as 1 1024 FFT or be configured as 4096 FFT? if it is configured as 1 1024 FFT, how to convert to 4096 FFT?

In 4K FFT lab, you will need to config the sample size to be 4096. The number of samples is directly used for FFT size.

Your answer simply means 4k FFT cannot improve the accuracy at the short range and the medium range, such as from 5 meters to 70 meters since 4096 FFT cannot be configured within this range. Is this correct?

To meet your need, further code modification would be needed. But if you can use 2049 samples (>2K), then the fft size will be rounded up to 4K (4096).

Thanks for the response! It seems some of the parameters are hard coded, the new loaded configuration has been changed automatically and not match to the parameters that are loaded, some of the parameters, such as "maximum velocity" and "velocity resolution" cannot be configured (hard coded?).

As indicated in the user guide, only range FFT is what maters here. The code for 2D FFT were not taken out but shouldn't be counted. Thanks.
