AWR1243: Tx power control precision

Hi champion,
My customer configured different Tx power backoff and tested the real output power, they found the real power difference and configured value has difference.
In their test, they configured the backoff to 3dB, 6dB, 12dB, but the measurement result is 3.4dB, 5.8dB and 10dB. What is the reason for this deviation? Will it be resolved in future SDK?

Hi Adam,

At low back offs (< 10dB), the output power will be accurate to within 1dB of the desired power. At higher back offs (> 10dB), the error can be more (> 6dB) in the released SDK. We are trying to fix the error at higher back offs and will try to keep it within 3 dB.
