AWR1243: The phase shift switching time and precision of BPM phase shifter?

HI champion,
My customer want to know the phase shift switching time (ns) and precision (+/- degree) for the BPM phase shifter in AWR1243. Do you have any suggestion?

Hello Adam,

The BPM phase is set before the chirp starts, so there is no additional settling time needed for this. The phase is typically within +-5 deg.

For phase shift switching time, I meant for a phase change from 0 to 180 degree, how long it normally takes for the phase change?

Hello Adam,
The phase shifter is internally set before the TX start and for the user there is no additional time taken for the phase shifter to change the phase from 0 to 180 deg since its done internally before the TX start. So as soon as the PA starts the transmission the phase is already settled.
