TMP007: and TMP006 NRND or End-of-Life or Obsolete

Part Number: TMP007

The TMP006 and TMP007 are listed as NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs) but the TMP007 looks like it can still be ordered.  The Evaluation modules are not shown as NRND.

Are they being phased out and if so is there going to be a replacement?

If NRND, is there a technical functional reason why?

    Hello Steve,
    both devices are being phased out due to complexity of the system calibration for our customers. The TMP007 stock is very limited; I do not recommend to use these devices. I'm afraid we are not planning any replacement for these IR sensors at this time. I apologize for the inconvenience; we do not have any IR temperature sensors that can be used for new designs.
