IWR1443BOOST: Antenna feed track loss?

Hi,

We would like to know what's the amount of loss (dB/inch or dB/cm) of the Tx, Rx tracks on RO4850 substrate at this freq. band 76 - 81 GHz? 

We are thinking to make our own demo board with a different antenna design on a different substrate/stack. 

Before going into the design, at least a simulated value would be useful to get an idea about pcb substrate, if a measurement has not been done on this substrate.

    Hello,

    The EVM uses Rogers 4835 Lo Pro 4mil for the RF traces layer.   The Rogers datasheet parameters should allow you to estimate the insertion loss due to the stripline to Grounded CoPlanar Waveguide.     I have attached the sample GPCW with dimensions, and a sample Rx ball to stripline S parameter simulation.    The designers for the EVM use the ANSYS HFSS tool  to aid with antenna and RF traces.
