AWR1642: radar

 We are using AWR1642 radars. We want to buy antennas that work in the operational frequency as the radars 76 GHz - 81 GHz. The antennas should be preferably omni-directional, but directional patch antennas work too. Please inform me some sources from where we can buy such antennas. Web search for '77 GHz car radar antennas' did not yield useful results for me.

    Hello Suvanir,
    Typically the antennas used for 77Ghz are PCB etched antenna, so you need not really "purchase" them but its just that the etch pattern needs to be designed based on the antenna requirements (gain, field of view etc.). Once you have the design it can just be etched on the PCB.
    I presently do not know of a 77Ghz antenna design house , but you could start off with the antenna used on the TI EVM.
