AWR1243: SoC cascading for higher TX power

Hi,

I am aware that I can use AWR1243 in SoC cascade mode to increase my TX transmit power that will enable me to detect very small RCS objects. I also know that I have to make the TX from the two chips to transmit at the same time without any phase lag also.

Does TI have any documentation or steps to guide me to achieve/test this?

Or can Any one help me on the things I have to take care, while trying this cascading for higher power.

Santhana,

A 4-chip cascading reference design is under development.

An app note which will serve as a guideline for custom cascade design is also in progress but will be available soon.

Is it possible to have a rough estimate of the timeline for this app note to be out. Because, based on that, I can plan my project timeline and scope
