LM26LV: How can I identify the temperature range (or Gain ) of the device?

Hello

I plan to LM26L as a temperature sensor.  looked over the DS , the gain 1-4 offers different temperature range. it is preset in factory.  But how I  can select the temperature range, basing on the marker, or model number.

I can not find any info in DS.

please help me out

    Hi Tiefeng,
    As can be seen on the table of electrical characteristics on page 6 of the date sheet, each Gain corresponds to a trip point that will come from the programmed from factory.

    VTEMP sensor gain

    Gain 1 --> (trip point = 0°C to 69°C)
    Gain 2 --> (trip point = 70°C to 109°C)
    Gain 3 --> (trip point = 110°C to 129°C)
    Gain 4 --> (trip point = 130°C to 150°C)

    Once you chose a trip point for the switch, just look at the corresponding Gain using the table described above.

    thanks a lot , Yes, I do aware the gain 1 , gain 2, gain 3, gain 4, But how I can select gain ? the trip point was preset by factory, can I identify the trip point by model number or maker on the chip ?

    Tiefeng,

    Using Package Option Addendum (POA) table and the Electrical Characteristics (EC) table you can identify the exact device you want.

    This is from the EC table on page 6:

    Gain 1 (trip point = 0°C to 69°C)

    Gain 2 (trip point = 70°C to 109°C)

    Gain 3 (trip point = 110°C to 129°C)

    Gain 4 (trip point = 130°C to 150°C)

    For LM26LVCISD-100.  The trip point is 100C.  Gain 2 includes 70-109C, which means that LM26LVCISD-100 has Gain=2.

    For LM26LVCISD-150/NOPB,  the trip point is 150C. Thus, the gain is 4.

    that is what I need. so basically we can use the model number identify the trip point.
    there is the temperature information in the model.
    further we can find the gain number.
